The Beginnings of Nini Hatiyoga (Video tak dapat nak upload daaaaa)

Deep in the concrete jungles of PJ, in a studio tucked in TV3. A Yoga Instructor is preparing herself for a particular 'assignment'.

A good friend of mine, Nini, came out on TV3's scoreboard early this morning, on Scoreboard. Some bola-mentary show thing. I found it rather unusual to watch a yoga demo at 12.30am on a bolamentary show.

It was LIVE......live? yes, at 12.30am?...i dunno why TV3'd do something like that at such an ungodly hour though but i'm sure it was potent enough to wake up even the sleepiest of strapping footie blokes for sure.

I watched with bated breath as the show progressed. Since that it's live, I can imagine 101 things going through Nini's mind. Must keep calm, keep poised, maintain the smile, be preapred to handle soklan2 cepumas and such.

But what made me grip the cushion as if watching a horror movie...were the call-in's. Oh....my....gawd. It was like I had just had a caffeine shot.

I'm not sure if this is Nini's 1st 'serious' debut on TV, live, but she carried herself well like a pro. Especially when she did her demo's. I could imagine myself tumbling and fumbling and rolling down like a barrel if it was me :) God forbid if I were to be an extra. They might even take the show off air :)..

(This slot was reserved for the video, which, i am unable to upload due to it's size, oh well, next time around, i'll have to record tv stuff in 'parts' then. Well, there's always Nini in Nescafe Kickstart, every Saturday, 7pm. Yeah, I'll go there heheheh. So, sorry folks)

Tabik spring boing2 to Nini for handling the questions with such calmness. For a while, i did hold my breath. Some questions were expected. I knew something would come out about yoga and religion. Nini answered it perfectly.

Yoga is still perceived as...a bad thing. A religion. Some kind of new faith. C'monlah.

How do we answer that?

Nini is just what the doctor ordered. A 'malay' yoga teacher who's in the 'present' and who can help justify that.

You might ask me though, what's my take on Yoga. Nah...i'll blog about that soon :) But for now. Enjoy the not so happening video quality :)

and to Nini...here's a toast to Hatiyoga and a great show!
